I worked with Bill at Stop & Shop in Pittsfield in the late 70's. We also played softball together on the store team and then on another team for a few years. The entire team was sad when Bill moved away from Pittsfield. He was a wonderful friend and a great softball player, too. Several of our teammates from that time have already touched base with each other to express our sadness about Bill's passing on. Our thoughts any prayers are with Bill's family and friends.
