Richie was special

The family and I went out to eat dinner one evening at Jimmy's where both Richie and Meredith had been working at the time.  We enjoyed chatting with them both and it just so happened that Richie was waiting on the table right beside us.  The table had about 6 or 7 ladies having a night out and Richie was being his normal sweet personable self, he was by far the most charismatic guy in the room.  The ladies were absolutely gushing about him.  I made it a point to let them know that he was truly a “nice guy” too, not just charming.  It was impressive to see how he made all the ladies at the table feel like they were the most important people in the room.  He was certainly a gifted kid with unbounded potential.  My prayers go out to you young man, may you rest in peace.
