Rick Bassett
Cliff was a fine gentleman, I got to know him through hunting with him, his son Don, and his nephew Dick. It was a pleasure to not only hunt with him but to listen to his stories and learn about the outdoors and Maine while sitting around in the evenings. I remember how far he could walk even though he was getting up in years at the time. He had a tremendous sense of humor and a very kind gentleman. I particularly remember one of the last deer he shot in Maine. It was running done a trail headed right towards him and the shot was right in the head, it was a great shot. I will remember Cliff as a gentleman's gentleman, and as a farmer's farmer. sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
