Joe L. Rosson, 91, of Auburn, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

His wife Beverly C. (Gaudette) Rosson died in 1998. He leaves his daughter, Debra-Jo Stenman and her husband Donald of Auburn; a step-son, Carl Sundell and his wife, Louise of Lubbock, TX; a granddaughter, Jessica R. Stenman of Boston; also survived by a brother, Sam Rosson and a sister, Mary Kinney, both of Texas. He was predeceased by three brothers, Bobby, Dois and Jimmy.

Joe was born and raised in Brownfield, Texas son of the late Sam H. and Vella (Smythe) Rosson. He graduated from high School and then entered into the United States Navy serving his country proudly during W.W.II.

Joe had worked as a Service Technician for Bancroft Motors in Worcester for many years. Previously he worked at Kenyon Dodge in Clearwater, Florida and was a Cotton and Grain Farmer in Texas.


Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joe’s family on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A service of remembrance will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
