It was an honor and privilege to have Fr. Lemire as our Chemistry teacher at Auburn High School back in 1980-81. He was always patient and kind toward each one of us. It was no surprise that he became a priest shortly after his wife passed away. His ministry had started when he became a teacher. My heart goes out to his family. Peace be with all of you. P.S. Favorite memory... Mike C. picking up Fr. Lemire and wrestling him into the school elevator...we missed about 10min of class but gained a memory and love for Fr. Lemire that would last a lifetime!
