Obituary for Barbara Rita Schmohl (Peterson)
SHREWSBURY-Barbara Rita (Peterson) Schmohl, formerly of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Sunday March 8, 2015, at the age of 94. Her husband, Richard Schmohl; two daughters, Carol Shedd and Jill Schmohl and a sister, Alice Peterson all predeceased her. She is survived by her granddaughter, Leah Shedd of Shrewsbury and her niece, Harriet Lewis of Boston.
Barbara was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late John and Mary “Mae” (Baltus) Peterson. After college she worked as an Executive Secretary and later worked as an on the road salesperson becoming quite successful in a male dominated industry. Barbara also was owner and operator of the New England Tool and Die.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service, Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:30 PM in Mountain View Cemetery, Boylston Road, Shrewsbury, MA.
