Obituary for Najla M. Chakour

Najla M. Chakour, 94, died on November 17th at Life Care Center of Auburn, where she had been cared for lovingly for the past ten years. Najla was born on June 20th, 1920 in Worcester, MA to Mitchell G. Chakour Sr. and Adele Kefruni. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lamise Gibbons and Selma Chakour and her brothers Gabriel, Frederick, Rev. Charles, and Rev. Mitchell Chakour. She leaves a sister-in-law Frances Chakour of Auburn, MA, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a remembrance service on Friday, November 21st at 11 AM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn, with Reverend Evan Plante officiating. Najla will be cremated, and a private interment service will be held on December 3rd at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Care Center of Auburn, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn, MA 01501.
