Biography

MILLBURY-Kiril "Kiro"Kuzmanovski, 55, died Sunday May 11th in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston after an illness.

He was the proud and devoted father of Vanessa R. Kuzmanovski of Millbury. He also leaves his beloved parents, Ljupco and Marija (Nikolova) Kuzmanovski of Shrewsbury; his cherished sister, Sonja Altiparmakov of Shrewsbury, and her son, Dimitar Altiparmakov.

He was born in Bitola, Macedonia, and moved to the US at the age of 15.

Mr. Kuzmanovski retired recently as a lab technician from the Astra Zeneca Corporation in Westborough, where he has worked for the past 35 years. Kiril was also an avid soccer player and longtime coach in Shrewsbury, playing on the "Over 35" league at SAC Park in Shrewsbury. He was an integral part of Kiro's Soccer Camp, a youth summer soccer camp program for 20 years, where he enjoyed coaching the young players. He was forever Macedonian, and continued to enjoy the foods, music and cultural aspects of the country while living here.
His longtime hobby was the raising and training of his pigeons.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday May 16th from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. A prayer service will be held on Saturday May 17th at 10 AM in the funeral home, followed by burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
