Biography

CHARLTON-Kevin T. Madore, 59, of Charlton, died Saturday, March 6th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester, following an illness. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Sharon A. (Richard) Madore; his son, Michael R. Madore of Charlton; his two brothers, Gerald R. Madore and his wife Peggy of Charlton and Steven J. Madore and his wife Jamie of Schwenksville, PA; his sister, Jean Proctor of Millbury; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert P. Madore of Sutton. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Gerald E. and Mildred M. (Tobin) Madore, and lived in Auburn before moving to Charlton many years ago. Kevin attended Auburn High School and then served with the US Army 1st Infantry Division during the Vietnam War.

Kevin worked in the auto body field for most of his life, including several years for himself. He was a talented custom painter and also enjoyed restoring classic cars. He could repair just about anything. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, Kevin was able to use his talents recently with his own bike, rebuilding and custom painting his “pride and joy”. He was also member of the Charlton Beagle Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, March 8th from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St, Auburn. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM with a prayer service in funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
