Obituary for Stephen Ryan Coyne

AUBURN- Stephen R. Coyne, 21, of Auburn passed away Saturday February 12, 2011 in Keene, NH
He leaves his parents John P. and Anne M. (Giannini) Coyne, his sister Mary E. Coyne, and her fiancé John Schultz, and his brother Matthew J. Coyne, his nephew Louis J. Schultz, his great aunt Antoinette Giannini, all of Auburn, his great grandmother Lucretia (Casso) Wylie of Millbury, his extended family including aunts and uncles; Elizabeth Giannini and Jeff McCullough of Hatfield, Deborah Malm, Penny Soutra, Maureen and John Campbell, Beth and Steven Dumas, all of Worcester, Robin and Richard Loftus of Rutland, Frank and Jenna Giannini of Roanoke, VA, James and Norene Coyne of Worcester, Timothy and Dana Coyne of Uxbridge, Joseph and Anne Coyne of Hampton Beach, NH, and Brian and Tracey Coyne of Wakefield, many cousins and close friends in Auburn and Keene all whom he loved, and his beloved Bulldog, Willis.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James R. and Mary R. (Hedge) Coyne and his maternal grandparents Frank D. and Rosemarie E. (Monfreda) Giannini, and his great uncle Louis Giannini.
Stephen was enrolled at Keene State College in Keene, NH, where he studied Geography and Biology. He was a graduate of the Auburn High School class of 2008. He was an assistant captain and starter on AHS Varsity Hockey team. He was a starting player on AHS Varsity Soccer team. He played Midstate hockey since the age of 4. Stephen was a talented athlete. He participated in Auburn Youth Soccer, Little League Baseball, St. Joseph's basketball and Pop Warner Football. He was chosen to participate with Team USA Selects in European hockey tournaments and currently played in a men's league hockey team in Keene.
He also enjoyed movies, music, art and fishing.
Stephen has previously worked at Chuck’s Steakhouse in Auburn, Palace Pizza in Worcester, and McGuirk’s Oceanview at Hampton Beach, NH.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 6-9 PM Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag Street, Auburn. His funeral will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 with a Mass at 10 AM in North American Martyrs Church 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Please go directly to Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
