Obituary for Helen B Sepuka

Helen B. (Hannon) Sepuka, 84, of Charlton formerly of Auburn died Friday September 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born and raised in Worcester daughter of the late Charles and Helen Hannon. She graduated from South High School and continued her education and graduated from Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing with the Class of 1955.

Helen became a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Worcester City Hospital and worked there until the hospital closed. She continued her nursing career at Hahnemann Hospital and retired from Memorial Hospital. Helen proudly assisted in the birth of all of her grandchildren.

When Helen was not working she enjoyed her membership and was Past President of the Emblem Club in Auburn.

Helen leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Francis X. Sepuka; their children, Susan A. Haines and her companion, John Setaro of Middleborough, Francis T. Sepuka and his wife Sally of Charlton, Sandra A. Rano of Brookfield and her husband Michael, Mark S. Sepuka and his wife Christine of North Brookfield, and Lisa A. Courville and her husband Paul of Charlton; also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; four siblings, Charles Hannon of Auburn, MaryAnn Hannon, Cynthia Paradise and Kathleen Hannon all of Leicester.

Helen’s family would like to send special thanks to the Overlook Hospice Team especially to Bettina for her kind, caring and loving ways shown to Helen and her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Helen’s family on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Helen’s funeral will be on Wednesday September 27, 2017 with a funeral Mass at 10:00 am in Saint Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street North in Auburn. Helen’s family asks that you wear “Purple” to honor Helen on the day of her funeral. Burial will follow in Sant John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, (www.diabetes.org).
