Sandra L.  Blanchard
Sandra L. (Zollin) Blanchard, 61 of Auburn died Thursday April 6, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Saratoga Springs, New York daughter of the late Roger Zollin. She graduated from Duxbury High School.

Sandra had worked for several years as a purchasing agent for the UMASS Medical School in Worcester until she stopped working in 2013.

She leaves her husband and best friend of 37 years, Robert J. Blanchard; a son, Justin R. Blanchard and his wife Katie of Charlton; two grandchildren, Cody and Allie Blanchard; her mother, Mary Zollin of North Grosvenordale, CT; two brothers, Steven Zollin and his wife Linda of Northbride and Timothy Zollin and his wife Lynn of Blaine, ME ; two sisters, Lynn Zollin of Woodstock CT and Tina Martel and her husband Norm of Woodstock CT; sister in-law Darlene Blanchard and dear friend Geraldine Levesque of Charlton, sister in-law Sheila Benoit and husband Vincent of Hopkinton; as well as many nieces, nephews, and very close friends.

The Blanchard family wish to thank Dr. Brown and Dr. Wilson and their wonderful staff for the compassionate care that was given to Sandra and the concern for her family during her illness.

At Sandra’s request funeral services will be held privately. BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn is honored in assisting the Blanchard family with Sandra’s arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at www.alsa.org.
