Thomas F. Randall, 71, passed away peacefully Oct. 12 in UMass Memorial Healthcare surrounded by his family.

His wife of 25 years, Margaret A. (Reynolds) Randall passed away in 2003. He leaves four sons; James M. Kerr of Weymouth, John F. Kerr and his wife Casey of Rockland, Andrew Kerr and his wife Kym of Marshfield and Thomas F. Randall, Jr. of Dudley, a daughter Margaret M. Avakian and her husband Jason of Dudley, a brother James Randall and his wife Aletha of Wilmington, five grandchildren; Alyson, Avery, Joseph, Abigail & Madeline and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Randall was born in Boston, son of James and Mary (Hanley) Randall. He graduated from Dorchester High School in 1963. He served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam and earned the rank of E4. After being discharged from the Navy, Tom began working for A T & T and remained there for forty years before retiring from the Verizon Co. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, drinking coffee, watching the History channel and cheering on his favorite New England sports teams.

A Funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 17 at 11:00 AM in BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Burial with Military honors will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:30-11:00 AM
