Vickie Lou “Vicki” (Basham) Goss, 78, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts passed away on August 24, 2016 after suffering a stroke.

She was born in Wichita, KS daughter of the late Lee and Marjory (Blackburn) Basham of Wichita, KS. A Cornell University graduate with her Master’s in Business Administration, Vickie worked for the Dean of Architecture, Arts and Planning at Cornell and then for Green Thumb Inc. before retiring to Peterborough New Hampshire.

She is survived by Jerry Goss her loving husband of 58 years, two sons, Chad Goss of Groton Ma and Mark Goss of Evergreen Co and a daughter Sandra Goss Travers of Shrewsbury Ma; nine grandchildren: Devin Travers, Meghan Travers, Sean Travers of Shrewsbury, Victoria Goss, William Goss, Elizabeth Goss of Evergreen CO, and Adam Goss, Nathan Goss, Patrick Goss of Groton Ma. Vicki was active in the church and local community especially providing support for Nepali immigrants through St. Mary’s Church and the Social Justice Committee.

Vickie was a warm, loving and compassionate person who loved sailing, skiing, gardening and was an avid reader. A memorial Mass for Vicki will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 am in Saint Mary’s Church, 640 Main St, Shrewsbury.
