Kenneth A. "Ken"  Gustafson
WEBSTER/GRAFTON- Kenneth A. “Ken” Gustafson, 88, of Webster, died Saturday April 30, 2016 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Worcester and raised in Avon, son of the late Gunnar R. and Dorothy (Thayer) Gustafson. He attended Worcester Boys Trade School and Wagner School of Sign Art in Boston. He graduated from Wilbraham Academy with the Class of 1949. Ken served his country proudly with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Ken had owned and operated Swissline Products for many years; he later owned and operated Crystal Research and Development before retiring in 2002.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 0092 in Grafton and the National Screw Machine Association. Ken was an avid motorcycle rider and was a Boston Sports fan.

Ken leaves his wife of 65 years, Catherine E. (Severy) Gustafson; devoted nieces and nephews, who all thru his illness were his caregivers in every possible way; Richard Riani, Jr and his wife Karen of Holden, Michael Riani of Worcester, Donna Hubert and her husband Harold of Oxford, Carol Leduc and her husband Steven of Ft. Myers, FL, Judy Riani-Demas and her husband Andrew of Auburn; two great nephews, seven great nieces, three great great-nephews and seven great great-nieces; also survived by cousins, Lois Harvie of Weymouth, Ma, Alice Davis of Debary, FL, Philip Gustafson of San Antonio, TX and Charles Freudentral of Vienna, VA.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ken’s family on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4-7 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A prayer service honoring his life will begin at 7:00PM. Burial will be private at a later date. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations may be sent to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
