Patricia A. "Pat"  Racine (Buckley)
Patricia A. “Pat” (Buckley) Racine, 74, of Auburn died Friday April 22, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John F. and Margaret M. (Quinn) Buckley. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1961.

Pat had worked as a secretary for over 20 years for Worcester Public Schools; eighteen of those years were spent at Nelson Place School. She also enjoyed teaching ceramics and tending to her gardens at her home.

Her husband, Joseph L. Racine, Jr., died in 1986. She leaves her children, Nicole A. Racine of Auburn, Joseph L. Racine, III of Worcester, John F. Racine of Auburn and Brian D. Racine of Worcester; a brother, John F. “Jack” Buckley of Holden; two sisters, Agnes M. Bryant “Peg” of East Brookfield and Ann M. Hurd of Auburn; four grandchildren, Brianne M. Hoey of Worcester, Kyle J. Racine of Oxford, Sean D. Racine and Kevin J. Racine both of Worcester; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia’s family on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 4-7 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Friday, April 29, 2016 from the funeral home with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Saint Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent Hospital Dialysis Unit.
