Obituary for Marie T. Morton
AUBURN-Marie T. (Witkowski) Morton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the age of 56.
She leaves her husband of 37 years, James L. Morton; her mother, Theresa (Karbowski) Witkowski; her son, Adam Morton and his wife Ashley of Oxford and her daughter, Danielle Farrell and her husband Edward of Auburn; 3 grandsons: Landon, Edward Jr. and Jason Farrell; a brother-in-law, Clarence Morton and his wife Debbie of Webster, 2 nieces, Kelly and Kimberly along with several cousins and friends. Two brothers, Thomas “Tommy” and Michael Witkowski both predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Theodore and Theresa Witkowski and raised in Auburn, where she graduated from Auburn High. Marie worked for BJ’s Wholesale Club for the past 15 years until her retirement but spent her earlier years raising her family whom she loved dearly. She also enjoyed reading and making crafts.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 5-8PM the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
