Obituary for Marion P. Treadwell (Peterson)

Marion P. (Peterson) Treadwell, 89, died Tuesday March 17, 2015 in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Her husband, Donald E. Treadwell died in 2009. She leaves her son, Robert D. Treadwell and his wife, Andrea of Auburn; a daughter, Linda J. Kazarian and her husband, Gregory of Holden; three granddaughters, Jennifer and Emily Kazarian of Holden and Danielle Treadwell of Auburn and many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester and had lived in Northborough for many years before moving to Shrewsbury in 1964. Marion had worked at State Mutual Assurance Company of America for several years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish in Shrewsbury.

Marion’s family would like to extend a warm heartfelt thank you to all the caring staff at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Holy Trinity Hospice. Their care and compassion toward Marion will long be remembered by her family.

A private prayer service for Marion will be held in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 300 Barber Avenue, Worcester, MA 01606.
