Lillian L. (Ledingham) Donohue, 85, of Auburn, died February 12, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband, James J. Donohue died in 1986. He leaves a son, Richard A. Donohue of Webster; three grandchildren, Anna N. Donohue of Webster, Jacob A. Donohue of Thompson, CT and James Donohue and his wife, Amy of Charlton; two great grandchildren, Brenna and Carly Donohue of Charlton; a niece, Pamela Herlihy. She was predeceased by a son, Neal James Donohue, a brother, Harry Ledingham and a sister, Patricia Herlihy.

Lillian was born in Manhattan, NY NY, daughter of the late John and Eileen (O’Connor) Lidingham. She graduated from High School in New York and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She worked as a LPN at Fairlawn Hospital in Worcester for many years before she retired. Lillian was a proud New Yorker and loved her New York Yankee’s.

Lillian was a faithful communicant of Saint Joseph’s Parish in Auburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lillian’s family on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM in Saint Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St, North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Donations in Lillian’s memory can be made to St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St, North.
