Obituary for Evelyn D. Hanson

Evelyn D. (Stone) Hanson, 97, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015 in the Life Care Center of Auburn.

She was the beloved wife of Roy Hanson who predeceased her in 2011. They were married for 74 wonderful years. During their lives, they enjoyed taking trips to Wells, ME and spending time with family. They were thoroughly devoted to each other. Evelyn was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Barabara A. Lavallee of Worcester, her three grandchildren; James Lavallee and his wife Kim of Lancaster, David Lavallee of Worcester, Karen Del’olio and her husband Louis of Worcester and her great grandchildren, Sam and Dominic Del’ olio of Worcester, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Lester, Ruth and Gladys.

Our family would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to Life Care Center of Auburn for taking such wonderful care of our mother/grandmother over the past several years.

A Service Celebrating her Life will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street in Auburn. Burial will be private.
