Obituary for Helen J Graham (Roy)
Helen J. (Roy) Graham, 93, of Auburn, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 in the Auburn Life Care Center after an illness.
Her husband, Frank W. Graham died in 1967. She leaves her children, Mark E. Graham and his wife, Sandra of Auburn and Deborah A. Putnam and her husband, David of Olathe, Kansas; four grandchildren, Shawna Graham and her partner, Arthur Theurer, Matthew Graham, Katherine Putnam and David Putnam and his wife, Lori; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Alayna Theurer; a brother, Richard Roy and his wife, Virginia of Maryland a sister, Lorraine A. Roy of Auburn and several nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (Keating) Roy. She graduated from Commerce High School. Helen was an Executive Secretary for the Smith Valve Company for over 20 years, retiring in 1980.
Helen was a faithful member of North American Martyr’s Church in Auburn where she was very active throughout the years. She loved gardening, poetry and she lovingly dedicated her life to the service of others.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Helen’s family on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 6-7 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10 AM in North American Martyr’s Church , 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
