Obituary for Theresa B. Lemay (Rocheford)
Theresa B. (Rocheford) Lemay, 86, of Auburn, died Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Auburn Life Care Center after an illness.
Her husband, Robert G. Lemay died in 2002. She leaves a son, Robert K. Lemay and his wife, Renae Magnan of Auburn; son-in-law, John Higgins of Auburn; two grandsons, Sean Higgins and his wife, Lindsey of Boston and Michael Higgins and his wife, Shannon of Auburn; a great grandson, John T. Higgins; two sisters, Eleanor Berthiaume of Grafton and Yvonne Smith of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Higgins in 2004.
Theresa was born in Blackstone, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Dorilda (Mongeon) Rocheford. Throughout Theresa’s working career she had worked many years as a cashier for several small retail stores in the Auburn.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Theresa’s family on Friday January 23rd from 9:30 -11:00 AM followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Burial will be at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
