SHREWSBURY- Elizabeth C. “Liz” (Noble) Mulcahy, 93, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.

Liz’s husband, James J. Mulcahy, II, died in 1975. Liz had seven children. She is survived by James J. Mulcahy, III and his wife, Kathleen of Shrewsbury, Kathleen Belcafine and her husband, Richard of Ocala, Florida, Michael and his wife, Ann of Gresham, Oregon, Patrick of Satellite Beach, Florida and John and his wife Sally of Clinton; also survived by 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Kevin and Dennis Mulcahy; and six siblings, Edith, Lillian, Irene, Frank, May and Marion.

She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Frank E. and Mary E. (Bradshaw) Noble. Liz graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School as a seamstress.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and her weekly card playing with her sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Liz’s family on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 4-6 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10 AM in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
