Stanley F.  Santor
Stanley F. Santor, 82, of Auburn, died Monday in Millbury Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.
He is predeceased by his wife Natalie (Gardner) and his daughter Sheila Prendiville.
He is survived by his son Scott Santor, and his wife Susan, of Spencer, and a granddaughter Shawna Pizzarella and her husband Lenny, of Spencer, and a sister Phyllis Johnson of Dover, NH.
Stanley was born in Worcester. He was the son of the late Stanley and Mae (Sczepanski) Santor. He was a graduate of Auburn High School.
Mr. Santor owned and operated Scott Ambulance Co. for many years, and later McAvoy Ambulance Co. the Huguenot Restaurant, and Maury’s Deli prior to retiring in the early 2000’s
Stanley was a US Air Force Veteran, servicing in the Korean War.
He enjoyed discussing the news topics of the day, sports and spending time with his family and friends, especially Louise Moody and Michael Lannon.
He was a member and past president of the Century Sportsman’s Club and the Auburn Sportsman’s Club, and was a longtime member of the Auburn Fire Department.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours to be held from 5-8 PM Monday October 27th in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street in Auburn.
