Obituary for Dell Marie MacLean

Dell Marie  MacLean
Meredith-NH/Auburn-Dell Marie MacLean of Bristol, NH formerly of Auburn died Saturday September 6, 2014 in Golden View Healthcare Center in Meredith, after a period of declining health. She was 88.
She is survived by her brother Frederick L. MacLean of PEI, Canada, and her sister Hazel P. DiBendetto, of Shrewsbury, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
She is predeceased by her siblings; Howard MacLean, Kathleen Odgren, Thelma Woodward, J. Gilbert MacLean, and Gordon MacLean.
Dell was born in Worcester. She was the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Rebecca J. (Howard) MacLean. Dell was a graduate of Auburn High School and the Trull Hospital Nursing program in Biddeford, Maine.
Ms. MacLean worked as a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor for Raytheon Company, St. Vincent Hospital, and the former Boston Lying-In and Providence Lying-In hospitals.
She was member of the many of the regions Occupational Health Nurses Associations, and the Red Cross, and St. Joseph’s Church in Auburn.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading gardening, and hosting luncheons and dinners, and spending time with her family.
Dell’s happiest days were spent in Brae, P.E.I.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dell’s Funeral Mass which will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street, North in Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
