Obituary for Daniel K Haskins

Daniel K” Dan”. Haskins, 53, formerly of Auburn died Friday, July 4, 2014 in his home in Mississippi.

He leaves his children, Jennifer Haskins of Shrewsbury and Justin Haskins of Virginia; sister, Sharon Zinkievich wife of Robert Zinkievich of Webster; brother, James Haskins, wife Cheryl of Worcester and brother Douglas Haskins, wife Ramona of Oxford.
His father, Kenneth F. Haskins of Mississippi; also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother, Alice F. (Kempisty) Haskins and his brother Christopher Haskins. .

Dan was born in Troy, New York, and raised in Auburn, MA. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1978. He was an experienced pressman at Saltus Press for 25 years before moving to Mississippi to care for his Dad.
Dan enjoyed fishing and music. He was an animal lover who was a gentle soul and was devoted to his children and family. He will be forever missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dan’s family on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 10AM-11 AM with a service celebrating and honoring his life at 11 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
