I remember back in our high school days and over the weekends it was always Tim, Mike Kennedy, and my brother Bruce.......camping out in the Wild Woods at Barlin Acres. Every weekend they'd pack all their camping gear and set out on an all-night adventure. And every night they did this my sisters and I would wait. We'd wait to hear them come crashing back across the fields (sometimes screaming like little school girls!) that "somethin's chasin' us out there!" LOL! This one time, in their wild man camp, Tim claimed it was a wambat. LOL! Bruce said it was a wambat for sure too. Mike tried to tell them that wambats are not indigenous to this area but nonetheless, that was their story and they were sticking to it. I remember many a weekend adventure with the three fearless amigos. Brings a smile to my face every time!
