Obituary for Mary A. Puzo

Mary A. (Volker) Puzo, 89, of Worcester, died peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, following a period of declining health.

Her beloved husband, Carmine Puzo died in 1986.

She leaves her three Children, Carmine Puzo, Andrea Leofanti and Raymond Puzo, all of Worcester; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sons, Anthony and Mario Puzo, and by her siblings, Louis, Delphine and Richard. She was born in Auburn, daughter of the late Louis and Delphina (Beauvais) Volker and lived in Worcester for many years. A longtime homemaker, Mary's greatest love was being with her family, and she adored her little dog, Pebbles. She enjoyed playing cards, Mario Brothers with her son Anthony, cooking, word search puzzles and board games.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 11th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. There are no visiting hours.
