Obituary for Jeffrey L. Lanciault

Jeffrey L. Lanciault, 34, of Oxford, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 16, 2012, at the UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by his family. He leaves his long-time companion, Jaclyn Leone and their two sons, Justin Lanciault and Jacob Lanciault, of Oxford; his mother, Loretta A. Deitrick, and stepfather, John R. Deitrick, also of Oxford; his father, James P. Lanciault, and stepmother, Laurie Lanciault, of Auburn; two sisters, Jessica L. Lanciault, of Charleton, and Jenna Lanciault, of Auburn. He also leaves his nephews Travis and Jared Seifert, of Charlton, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jeff lived his entire life in Oxford and graduated from Oxford High School in 1994. He attended Becker College and, most recently, was pursuing a bachelor's degree in allied health at University of Phoenix. Jeff was a family man devoted to his two sons. There was nothing more he enjoyed than being with his sons, of whom he was very proud. They gave him the greatest pleasure in life.

He was also devoted to the rest of his family and his friends. He enjoyed sports, having played baseball and basketball as a youth, and faithfully followed New England Patriots football and Red Sox baseball. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We will always remember his smile and his laughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 18th from 5-8 PM at Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A Funeral Mass celebrating Jeff’s life will be held at 9 AM Thursday, January 19 in North American Martyrs' Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Oxford. For those who wish to make donations in Jeff's memory, Webster Five Bank, 343 Main St. Oxford, MA 01540 will be accepting donations to the Jeffrey L. Lanciault fund account for the benefit of his children.
